Privacy notice

This notice describes information handled through hermesautocarriers.com. It does not replace a more specific agreement governing a booked shipment.

Information you provide

A quote request may include your name, email address, telephone number, pickup and delivery locations, vehicle details, requested dates and notes. Do not submit payment-card numbers, government identifiers or sensitive documents through the public quote form.

How information is used

Hermes uses the information to respond to your request, price and arrange transportation, communicate about the shipment, prevent fraud, keep required business records and comply with law.

When information is shared

Shipment information may be shared with prospective or assigned motor carriers and vendors that support communications, website operation, document storage, accounting or payment processing. Hermes does not sell quote-form information as a consumer lead list.

Website security and providers

We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for website hosting and request storage, and Microsoft 365 for quote notifications. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical signals, including your IP address, browser information and the website origin, to detect bots and improve its protection. Calls and texts

If you request contact, Hermes may call or text about that request. You may ask us to stop marketing messages at any time. Operational messages concerning an active shipment may still be necessary.

Retention and security

Broker transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Other records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
